Positive experience: It's an okay Gym. I just think the owner should rise a survey asking their loyal clients, not customer. We are client what we think about of the certain unit and get some improvement.

Positive experience: The gym facilities are excellent, and the staff is exceptionally friendly. However, I noticed that the cardio section lacks an adequate number of treadmill machines. Instead, there is an abundance of cycling and other machines, such as rowing machines, which seem to be underutilized. I suggest increasing the number of treadmill machines to match the standards set by facilities like Douglas or City Dennehys gym.

Fantastic experience: Great staff, trainers and good environment. I highly recommend Emmet. It was my first time having a Free personalised training programme in Ireland and I was impressed with this being included in the monthly fee what I haven’t seen in the other gyms I’ve been in Cork. He helped me showing how to do the exercises and I am much more motivated to keep going to the gym as well. Thanks

Fantastic experience: Great gym. Very good opening hours as it closes at 11 rather than 9/10pm which is great as its a very flexible option for shift workers. Staff are very friendly and membership includes option to access the gyms in Blackpool, Cork City and Douglas. Would highly recommend this gym for anyone starting out in their gym journey.

Negative experience: The cardio equipment is old and tired especially treadmills, ellipticals and cardio bikes... showers are ofter out of order and very dirty the changing room is dirty as well.

Negative experience: Paid for full year gym membership jan 2020 with classes. Only used 3 months due to covid. Ask them to split the balance between me and friend, to use it up as i was moving out of the an area in 2021.They refused and wouldn't give me a refund. They give me a voucher which is no good to me, when I live over hour away.I understand their business has suffered because of covid but if they couldnt provide a service they should offer refund. Most gyms did this to look after their customers as customers also suffered because of covid, it wasn't just business who had it rough the last year. Compared to the other dennehys gym and other gyms in general , this has old equipment, very small, spinning bikes are awful and old and poor customer service. They come across greedy and don't care about their customers. Way better gyms in cork , would avoid and definitely wouldn't recommend.

Fantastic experience: Recently completed a year long membership here and don't recall ever having a negative experience. The front of house staff at the reception desk always say hello and goodbye when you come and go (Even when I'm in my own world after a workout). Would not hesitate to recommend.

Fantastic experience: Seriously impressed by Dennehy's, I'm gutted we don't have them in the UK. I stumbled across them as I was visiting for a few days (and am dead committed to my gym programme... impressive or sad, you choose) and after a message to them on Facebook about Pay As You Go, they couldn't have been quicker to reply nor more accommodating. Outside of peak time they allow PAYG, that's before 4:30pm weekdays and anytime on the weekend. And it was only 5€. Lovely big windows to the front, so lots of decent light (no walls facing the treadmills) 4 great quality squat racks and a dedicated deadlift area, a huge variety of weight machines too all in a relatively small space without being cluttered. They also have assault bikes (x 3), ski ergs (x 2) and an air runner, which is unusual in my experience. Lots of barbells (including shorter ones and trap bars). There's a couple of points to do landmine work, too. The cleanliness and neat, tidy environment is unlike I've seen in a gym, it seems as though their staff and client's really respect the space which is so good to see. No dents/marks/chunks taken out of any of the equipment, no rips or tears in the benches. Please come to the UK, I'll be your first member.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant gym! I've done three PT packages with Ballincollig - find all the trainers excellent! Really encouraging, even on the days when the gym is the last place I want to be!!! Great help with any questions I have. The PT sessions are unreal; totally tailored to my goals and what I want to achieve! Would recommend to anyone :)

Fantastic experience: Signed up for the Personal Training package (three times a week for six weeks) and am now on my third package, best thing I ever did for my fitness! The programme is tailored specifically to my goals and I have worked with most of the trainers at this stage and they are all friendly, professional, knowledgeable and very client centric.There is huge variety in the programme so I never get bored! I highly recommend this programme for anyone who is looking to achieve their goals but struggles with the self discipline needed to remain motivated and to push yourself when it gets tough!
